1. What is a business visa?

2. Conditions to apply for a business visa

• Being a partner with a business in Vietnam (individuals or units with legal status in Vietnam/foreign)
• Passport and documents valid for international travel
• The guarantee agency in Vietnam must carry out the procedures at the Vietnam Immigration Department and approve the entry of foreigners.

3.Those who need to apply for a business visa

• Foreigners are investors for companies in Vietnam
• Foreigners who are heads of representative offices of non-governmental organizations
• Foreigners are workers who are granted work permits
• Foreigners are lawyers who have been licensed to practice by the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam.

4.Documents to prepare

• Original passport of foreigner with at least 06 months validity
  
• Application form for visa, extension of temporary resident card
• Immigration letter approved by the Vietnam Immigration Department allows foreigners to enter and receive visas
• Work permit for foreigners who are required to apply for a work permit
• In case a foreigner is exempted from a work permit, a certificate of work exemption must be provided.

In addition, depending on the applicant for a business visa, these following additional documents must be provided:

• Operation licenses of enterprises and organizations: business registration certificates, investment licenses, operating licenses of branches, representative offices, etc.
